Our journey is built on a core belief: learning drives transformation. What began as a simple idea in Malaysia has evolved into a platform that empowers businesses across Asia, helping their teams develop the skills needed to achieve goals and unlock their full potential.

2020

We launched as General Assembly Malaysia, officiated by the Minister of Communications and Multimedia.

Our very first campus was completed.

Received >7,000 applications under the HRDF PENJANA initiative.

Our first classes were delivered, alongside welcoming our first enterprise client.

We formed key partnerships with MaGIC, UiTM, and KPT-CAP.

2021

Consumer enrolments grew fivefold, reaching 100 learners.

We celebrated our first KPT graduation, graced by the attendance of the Minister.

700 partnership learners joined us, including our first cohort under Khazanah MySTEP.

Our team expanded threefold to 30 employees.

Enterprise learner numbers surged 20 times, reflecting the growing demand for our programs.

The number of enterprise clients tripled, reaching 30 and solidifying our position as a trusted partner.

2022

We commenced the set-up of Excelerate, marking a new phase in our journey.

Our public class calendar was launched with a regular schedule to better serve learners.

We finalised a partnership with HRDC for Signature Programmes, expanding our impact.

The total number of learners doubled to 3,200 since our founding.

Our enterprise client base grew twofold to approximately 60 organisations.

Excelerate officially launched.

We became the largest provider for MySTEP and K-Youth programmes.

Two new content partnerships (Wray Castle and EC-Council) were forged, expanding our learning offerings.

Our first in-house learning product, Data Storytelling, was developed.

We celebrated the success of our first EXCITE events.

2024

We scaled up our learning design, launching our first hybrid courses to cater to diverse learning needs.

Work began on developing a technology roadmap, with plans to build an MVP by 2024.

Our organisation expanded to around 50 employees, driving forward our mission.

Our first client event, a Hari Raya Open House, was hosted, fostering stronger relationships and engagement with our partners.
